Robert Dale Husk “Bobby,” 62, of Harrisville, WV, left this world on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at WVU Medicine, Camden Clark with his wife by his side, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Bobby was born November 25, 1962, in Akron, OH, a son to the late Robert Eugene Husk and Charlotte Backus Reusch of Missouri. He was a master bricklayer by trade and was a member of Local #23. He retired from his profession after 40 – plus years and he was highly respected in his craft. Bobby helped construct the brand-new athletic facilities at Ritchie County High School, the bathrooms at Pennsboro Speedway, the Ritchie County Courthouse Annex, and the Veteran’s Memorial on the lawn of the Ritchie County Courthouse.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and found enjoyment attending their athletic and school activities. Bobby also enjoyed helping those less fortunate. He often donated and volunteered at homeless shelters in the Mid-Ohio Valley. He enjoyed shooting pool, coin collecting, and enjoyed riding and working on 4wheelers with his son Trey. He will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Tonya Linville-Husk; three siblings, Larry (Traci) Husk; Jackie (Marcella) Husk, and Kim Hamsher (Mike); his children, Waylon (Julia) Husk, Amber Husk, Zachary Linville (Cori Kuhn), Shawn Linville (Monica) and Trey Husk; grandchildren, Timofey, Sofia, Kyler, Ezra, Ava, Bentli, Rhett, Colton, Journey, and Declan; great granddaughters, Oakley and Opal, and his special cats, Scary and Tig.

In addition to his father, Bobby was preceded in death by his stepfather, Harold Reusch.

Visitation for Bobby will take place from 4pm-8pm on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the Raiguel Funeral Home in Harrisville, WV. In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated and laid to rest in the Husk Cemetery in Calhoun County, WV.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in his name be made to the Ritchie County Humane Society, 2220 Pullman Road, Harrisville, WV, 26362.
