Karen V. Edge Bice
Karen V. Edge Bice, 86, of Vienna, passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024, at Wyngate Assisted Living, Vienna.
She was born in Jacksonburg, Wetzel County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Issac and Custie Fluharty Edge.
Karen was a member of Grand Central Church of Christ and worked with the Stepping Stones Ladies Auxiliary group for Ohio Valley University. She was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family, gardening, and sewing, having volunteered with Camden Clark Medical Center, sewing clothing for newborns.
She will be carried in the hearts of her loved ones, including her daughters, Kimberly Daggett (Zane) of Hooksett, NH and Amy O’Neill (Sean) of Smyrna, TN; son, Benjamin Bice (Bobbie) of Vienna; sisters, Nina Tucker (Tom) of Clarksburg, WV and Julianne Paynter of SC; brothers, Dennis Edge (Juanita) of Fairmont, WV and David Edge (Peggy) of Pittsburgh, PA; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren with one on the way.
In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bernard Bice Jr.
Her family would like to extend a special thank you to Wyngate Assisted Living, the ICU Nurses at Camden Clark Medical Center, and Amedisys Hospice for the tender care they have shown.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna, with Minister Joe Spivey officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
