Bobby Lee Hardbarger

Bobby Lee Hardbarger, 77, of Cairo, WV, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Oct. 2, 2024, at Parkersburg Care Center.

Bobby was born Jan. 6, 1947, in Ritchie County, WV, to the late C. V. “Joe” Hardbarger and the late Madge Adams Hardbarger. A 1964 graduate of Harrisville High School, Bobby married his high school sweetheart, the late Judy Rae Hinton. Together they founded, owned, and operated Hardbarger Custom Paint and Hardbarger Signs. Both businesses were internationally recognized, award-winning, and published in trade magazines worldwide. In retirement, Bobby was a vendor at Rinky Dinks, Marietta, Ohio.

Bobby and Judy loved square dancing and were members of Bonds Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Ellenboro.

In addition to his parents and wife, Bobby was preceded in death by brothers James M. Hardbarger and Billy J. Hardbarger, and sister Debra Messer Hilton. He is survived by son Bryan Hardbarger, granddaughter Bella Hardbarger, sisters-in-law Mary (James) Hardbarger and Judith (Billy) Hardbarger, and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service is planned.
