Wallace “Wally” D. Casto

Wallace “Wally” D. Casto, 74, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg.

He was born February 11, 1950, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Ottie and Floda Tulley Casto.

Wally was a praying man of God and a member of the Word of Faith Fellowship Church in Spencer, West Virginia. He was a master craftsman and owner/operator of Wally’s Fix It Shop. Wally was a people person and jokester, entertaining people by telling “Wally” stories and as a musician, playing the rhythm guitar and sound man.

He loved his wife dearly. Wally will be carried in the hearts of his wife, Patricia Ann Still Casto; three children, Sonya DeJesus (John), Rebecca Wilson (Roger Myers), and Buddy Wilson (Lisa); seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2024, at Landmark Baptist Church with Pastors Michael Lamb and Geoff Wayne officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
