Ann Louise Bennett

Ann Louise Bennett, 90, of Belpre, passed away Sept. 19, 2024, at Rockland Ridge in Belpre.

Ann was born July 14, 1934, in Wirt County, WV, a daughter of the late Tilden and Carrie McClung.

Ann was a 1952 graduate of Parkersburg High School and in June of 1953 she married the love of her life, Kenneth Martin Bennett. She had worked in sales for G. C. Murphy and twenty years for Sears before retiring. After retiring she enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. Ann was a longtime member of Rockland Methodist Church. She loved spending time with and taking care of her family.

Ann is survived by her children Jeffrey M. Bennett (Marcy) of Johnstown, Ohio, Karen S. Benton (David) of Parkersburg, and Terri L Givens (Loren Mundstock) of Parkersburg; grandchildren Todd and Travis Alloway, Nicole and Jason Benton and Austin Ross; great grandchildren Matt, Jordan, Jacob and Katey Alloway, Levi and Morgan Benton, Brooklyn and Blake Bennett; great-great grandson Cameron Ross.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Kenneth M. Bennett, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, at the Rockland Methodist Church in Belpre, with Pastor Mark Zimmer officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Belpre. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rockland Methodist Church, 2300 Washington Blvd., Belpre OH 45714.
