Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Nov. 4-5:

* Nicholas Matthew Knight, 2747 Lost Pavement Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $191.48.

* Vu Van Dung, 2727 N Mayfair Rd #D, Milwaukee, Wis., pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.

* Autumn Marie Gloeckner, 991 Swann St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of burglary. The case was sent to Wood County Magistrate Court.

* Brandon Michel Burdette, 218 Chesterville Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $276.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation with a credit of 11 days for time served. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Par Mar store on Elizabeth Pike in Mineral Wells. A charge of second-offense shoplifting was dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to a charge of obstruction with threats of harm and fined $256.48.

* William Donald Richards III, 1602 Murdoch Ave. Apt. 111, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to public intoxication and fined $276.48. A charge of pedestrian in roadway was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Jacob Benjamin Hilton, 1206 West Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of embezzlement. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Brian Andrew Sears Jr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery, destruction of property and interfering with emergency communications and released on $3,000 bond.

* Mindy E. Cole, 56 Walnut St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance and having expired registration and released on $500 bond.

* Kimberly Diane Woods, 512 9th Ave. Apt. D, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.

* Reggie Drew Woodrum, 456 Clell Woodrum Lane, Ridgeview, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of tracking deer with dogs off their lead and making intimidating obscene phone calls and released on $1,000 bond.

* Bryan Lee Shupp, 3616 Stella St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance, having no MVI, third-offense driving on a suspended license and having improper registration and released on $5,000 bond.

* Amber Lynn Winston, 413 Eighth St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of disorderly conduct and released on $200 bond.

* John Harvey Legg, 183 Roost Lane, Summersville, was arraigned on a charge of driving while impaired and released on $2,000 bond.

* Tristan R. Francis, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County on a charge of theft of property and held on no bond until a bond hearing is set in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Charuss Edward Drummond, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and released on $1,500 bond.

* George Franklin Friel IV, 3850 Central Ave. Apt. #19, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of burglary and held on $24,000 bond. He was also arraigned on a charge of obstructing an officer and held on $2,500 bond.

* David Paul Hamilton. 4104 16th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of conspiracy against the state and released on $5,000 bond.

* Joseph Russell Mason, 4416 9th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and released on $20,000 bond.

* Michael Richard File, 5208 Second Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and released on $10,000

* John May Smith, 1108 Juliana St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and released on $2,500 bond.

* Tristan Roben Francis, 877 Dry Run Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license, having no insurance, obstruction (two counts) and shoplifting and released on $2,500 bond.

* Blaine Maxon Mackey, 3506 Winding Rd., Waverly, was arraigned on charges of third-offense driving on a suspended license, having no insurance and violating a protective order and released on $1,500 bond.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Nov. 6:

* Eric Shane Vest, 1009 111 Ave. Apt. 6, Vienna, pleaded guilty to a charge of second-offense shoplifting and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He was also ordered to report to the Wood County Day Report Center for substance abuse treatment. He was also ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the 7-11 store on Avery Street in Parkersburg. A charge of third-offense shoplifting was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Christopher Wayne Hutson, 1420 Spring St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $376.48. He had a charge of having no insurance dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also had a charge of simple assault dismissed as he was indicted on the charge in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Michael Duane Copen, 313 Franklin St., Parkersburg, had charges of having defective equipment and not having an inspection certificate dismissed

* Jeffrey Jettis Brown, 1015 Laird Ave., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of being an inmate in possession of a weapon, drugs or dangerous materials. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Lloyd Michael Wamsley, 1705 Rayon Dr., Apt. C, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Anastasia Marie Yarborough, 2212 36th St. Apt Z, Parkersburg, had charges of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and fleeing from an officer dismissed as Yarborough is deceased.

* Rhonda Renee Patterson, 2600 27th Ave., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of conspiracy to manufacture, deliver, possess with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Betty Joan Genger, 4206 Powell St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, fined $1,083.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* James Albert Lipscomb, 1003 13th Ave. Apt. 6, Vienna, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm, fined $226.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.

* Andrew Tyler Reed, 295 Mitchells Lane, Marietta, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (meth), fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on 12 months of unsupervised probation.

* Anthony Lee Scritchfield, 403 11th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to open burning of solid waste, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 20 days in jail which was suspended and placed on six months of unsupervised probation.

* Richard R. Cullum II, P.O. Box 5292, Vienna, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed as part of a successful six-month deferred sentence agreement.

* Shantel Josephine Leasure, c/o 1134 Lynn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to destruction of property, fined $236.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on 12 months of unsupervised probation.

* Bradley G. Morris, PO Box 34, Smithville, pleaded guilty to a worthless check violation and fined $484.64.

* Jean B Ndizeye, 3033 Glenshaw Ave., Columbus, Ohio, pleaded no contest to failure to maintain control of a vehicle and fined $201.48.

* Ronald Stephen Piersal Jr., 1306 17th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.

* Harry David Culotta, 153 Dickens Dr. Suite 31, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to speeding (two counts) and fined $191.48.

* Sarah A. Morris, 299 Scarce Fat Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.

* Sean M. Wilster, 8513 Real Oak Dr. NE, Warren, Ohio, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $181.48.

* Leeza Danielle Bartles, 2121 Chestnut St. Apt. A, Gallipolis, Ohio, pleaded no contest to speeding (79 mph in a 70 mph zone) and fined $181.48.

* Jerome Lee Blackwell, 1229 22nd St. Apt. 1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second offense driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. He also pleaded guilty to third-offense driving on a suspended license, fined $326.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was credited as time served. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Aja Deon Lacey, 425 South Tacoma Way, Tacoma, Wash., was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Sullivan County, Tennessee, on charges of criminal trespass (two counts), burglary (two counts) and theft (two counts). Lacey is being held without bond. Lacey is also being held on $1,000 bond for a charge of obstruction.

* Delbert Wesley Hall Jr., 1210 Swann St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and fleeing on foot and held on $1,500 bond.

* Brandon Xavier Boyd, 1019 27th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and held on $2,500 bond.

* Anthony E. Hill, 3310 Sandhill Road, Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of speeding and released on $500 bond.

* Steven Wade Taylor, 2718 26th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of DUI, driving without headlights and having expired registration and released on $2,000 bond.

* Jill Kristin Bolden, 600 Hawthorne St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of strangulation and child neglect creating risk of injury and held on $15,000 bond.

* Heather Lynn Cooper, 93 South Fourth St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a stoplight violation, operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $362.96.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Nov. 7:

* Justin Wade Carmichael, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to being a person prohibited from possessing firearms for assault or battery of a domestic partner, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. He had a charge of second-offense domestic assault dismissed. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which will run concurrent with the other charge. Charges of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and violation of a protective order were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Toby Lee Blair, Washington, pleaded guilty to domestic assault, domestic battery, unlawful restraint, fined $529.44 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on 12 months of unsupervised probation. Charges of obstruction with threats of harm and disorderly conduct were dismissed, per a plea agreement

* Ronnie Lee Lockhart Jr., 2203 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $386.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Daniel Wayne Cade, 3924 Wolfe Run Road, Belleville, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and fined $276.48. A charge of having an open container was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Enrique O. Gomez, 6160 Pike St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to providing beer to someone under 21-years-old and fined $201.48.

* Martin Gale Collins II, 100 241 St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 10 days in jail.

* Jessica Lynn Crockett, 133 Goff Hollow, Elizabeth, had charges of driving on a suspended license for DUI and having no proof of insurance dismissed.

* Virgil Denver Adkins, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic assault, fined $206.48 and sentenced to 10 days in jail.

* Joseph Vernon Turpin, 675 Goose Run Road, Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of first-degree robbery and held on no bond.

* Brittany Sue Stanley, 107A Pickering St., Parkerburg, was arraigned on charges of having no registration, driving on a suspended license, speeding, failure to maintain control and having no insurance and released on $5,000 bond.

* Joshua Michael Conger II, 706 1/2 Seventh St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on five counts of violation of a protective order, stalking and harassment and released on $2,500 bond.

* Gary Paul Barker, 817 Lenore St., Parkersburg, had charges of having no registration and operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate dismissed.

* Gregory Sean Bailey, 124 East 6th St., Williamstown, pleaded guilty to speeding, second-offense driving with no operators license and fined $362.96.
