Wood County Grand Jury issues indictments
PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Grand Jury on Tuesday issued indictments against 18 people.
They are:
* Virgil Denver Adkins, 46, currently held in the North Central Regional Jail, was chArged with destruction of property and domestic assault that occurred in August.
* Brian Allen Allman, 39, currently held in the North Central Regional Jail, was charged with burglary, brandishing a deadly weapon and two counts of escape that occurred in July.
* Michael Allen Bailey, 27, currently being held in the North Central Regional Jail, and Thomas Michael Underwood, 30, 44 Meadowview Circle, Parkersburg, were each charged with breaking and entering, petit larceny, receiving or transferring stolen goods, conspiracy to commit a felony and conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor from July.
* Greggory Scott Baker, 30, currently being held in the North Central Regional Jail, was charged with third-offense domestic battery and second-offense violation of a protective order from September.
* Christopher Maurice Davis, 22, currently being held in the North Central Regional Jail, was charged with possession of a controlled substance from February, three counts of second-offense delivery of a controlled substance from July to August and second-offense possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver from August.
* John Nathaniel Dillard, 38, currently being held in the North Central Regional Jail, was charged with second-offense possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, obstructing an officer and possession of a controlled substance.
* Christopher Wayne Hutson, 31, currently being held at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on three counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm, being a person prohibited from possessing a concealed firearm, being a person prohibited from possessing a firearm, obstructing an officer, intimidation of a witness and assault from September.
* Stephanie Patricia Maggi, 38, currently being held at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on a charge of third-offense domestic battery from March.
* Sherman L. McPherson, 21, currently being held at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on a charge of failure to provide notice of registration changes from July.
* Robert Daniel Pennell III, 42, currently being held at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of two counts of being a person prohibited from possessing a concealed firearm, two counts of being a person prohibited from possessing a firearm and two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver from May.
* Adam Lee Sams, 42,currently being held at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of two counts of destruction of property, two counts of breaking and entering and two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony from January to March.
* Michael Patrick Sullivan, 29, currently being held at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of distribution or display to a minor of obscene matter, obstructing an officer and indecent exposure from July.
* Gary Leonard Travis, 37, currently being held at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of five counts of third-offense battery of a health care worker, two counts of attempted third-offense battery of a healthcare worker and destruction of property from March 2024.
* James Edward Wallbrown Jr., 36, currently being held at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of third-offense battery of a law-enforcement officer, assault on a law enforcement officer, obstructing an officer, brandishing a deadly weapon and fleeing from a police officer from July.
* Kevin Scott Wilson, 38, currently being held at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of first-degree sexual assault, two counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian and first-degree sexual abuse from March to September.
* Darrell Arthur Yeater, 43, currently being held at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of destruction of property, robbery in the first degree, grand larceny and two counts of battery from June.
