Parkersburg realtors feed money into Jon Six Food Ministry
PARKERSBURG — The Parkersburg Area Association of Realtors, along with CEO of the West Virginia Association of Realtors Raymond Joseph, presented a check for $7,685.56 Wednesday to the Jon Six Food Ministry at the Latrobe Street Mission.
“We like to get out into the community and give back,” Parkersburg Area Association of Realtors Community Service Committee Chair Stephanie Walls said.
Walls said this is an annual donation the association does with local organizations and that the funds are collected through community services such as the Community Service Committee Cruise-in.
Six said the funds will go to help provide five to seven meals a month at the Latrobe Street Mission, serving up to 80 people, with each meal costing anywhere between $300 to $400. He said he plans to pay it forward.
“I want to help them (The Parkersburg Area Association of Realtors) next year with their donation,” Six said.
