WVU Medicine Camden Clark welcomes McClosky as vice president of ambulatory operations

PARKERSBURG — WVU Medicine Camden Clark has named Vincent McClosky its new vice president of ambulatory operations.

McClosky began his tenure at Camden Clark on Aug. 12. He will preside over all offsite and hospital-based clinics, with an emphasis on business development, clinical integration and oversight of financial and operational functions.

“I’m truly grateful to be part of the WVU Medicine Camden Clark family and the Mid-Ohio Valley communities we serve,” McClosky said. “I’m excited to join the Camden Clark team and to contribute to our ongoing commitment of providing excellent care for the community.”

McClosky brings more than a decade of experience in health care leadership to the position, most recently serving as the administrator of surgical services at Wellspan Health System in York, Pennsylvania. He is also a first lieutenant of medical logistics in the U.S. Army Reserves.

McClosky has held various leadership positions in health care settings including the system director of operations of the Surgery Institute at Geisinger Health System in Danville, Pa.; director of operations and assistant division administrator for rheumatology and renal service lines at UPMC in Pittsburgh; and senior practice manager at the UPMC Cancer Center, among several others.

We look forward to continuing to provide exceptional care within our clinics under his leadership.”

McClosky earned a master of business administration from Scranton University in Scranton, Pennsylvania, in addition to a master of health care administration from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He also received his bachelor of liberal arts from Kings College.
