Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

Oh and as far as those predictions go try and comprehend this.

Our climate and its weather is a very dynamic system.

Not all predictions will be accurate.

That right there though is absolutely no reason to discount what is happening with our climate.

But one prediction that will come true is that you and the others will wail like madmen at me for saying that.

Lets rewind a bit though. Lets go back to that little test in Bill Nyes video.

Lets see how honest you are...or how much of coward you are.

If I was to acquire all of the components used in that simple experiment would I find the jar with the higher level of co2 to have a temperature that is lower or the same as the one that has a normal mix of air?

Why is that experiment false in its findings?

I bet you won't answer that straight and to the point.

Failed models you say? Prove it!

The email "thing" was debunked and shown to be nothing at all.

Besides those emails have no bearing on the world wide loss of glaciers do they?

Or the increased metaling of the ice caps.

Or abnormal weather patterns.

You know stuff that is actually happening.

The sites or whatever they are you mentioned. I've never been to any of them.

I don't get my info from places like that.

In other words..you fail again.

Where did I cite Al Gore as a source for my information? Where did I show you that I look to him for guidance?

Marxism could get a second wind from the climate change issue. This ideology separates the world between exploiters and exploited, rich and poor, where industrial countries exploit the under developed countries. Although this ideology lost of its importance since the fall of communism, climate change could bring it back. Indeed, it shows that the poorer countries are the one suffering the most from capitalism.

The industrialized countries are historically responsible for climate change, but they resist fighting it alone for economical reasons. The poorer countries, which are the one that contributed the least in the emission of greenhouse gases, are the one who suffers the most of its consequences. Climate change has a more powerful effect on tropical countries with natural disaster, flooding, dryness, diseases, malnutrition and contaminated water. Death is happening first in the Third world and it will increase dangerously.

In order to change this situation and push the industri

Myth it's abundantly clear that math is not your only cognitive problem. You clearly are not bright enough to even form a consistent argument. Track record??// good lord how about the predictions of al gore and mann or the failed models, the emails proving collusion and outright fraud from you warmers. You hold up bill Nye as a credible source, yet say if the 3100. Plus sscientists are not real climatologists they dont count. Is bill a climatologist? You guys crack me up.

Not sure imbecile is appropriate, what I see are two types of people. The first group embraces government think we need more and will willingly believe anything they are told. They cannot believe that governments are at best a.necessary evil and will run to them liberties in hand for security.

That would fit a definition of imbecile.............

To top all of this off what do I see?

Kendall and Harry offering honest points for consideration in this little debate we got on here.

Neither you nor Ithink will even engage those points and detail why they are right or wrong.

Instead the goal posts get moved.

Petty and pathetic is all I can say.

And goodness lol! You bring up the old MSNBC CNN vs Fox News argument.

Yep..a load of crap! And you know it.

But I understand. Its the one thing you have to use in an argument about who is "right" etc whatever.

mythravere

Another thing to be considered when dealing with rightwing persons, organizations etc is this.

The tendency to flat out deny anything that you feel is a liberal cause.

Without any consideration of the facts!

So many on the right will deny everything and anything a liberal stands behind just because its a liberal bringing the subject up.

Its called being biased.

Facts just can't pass through the seething hatred rightwingers feel for people on the left.

Once a topic is labeled as a liberal cause...you people can not be be approached on the issue.

All that is heard after that point is no no no no no no no no! Thumbs in ears blah blah blah blah!

Pot calling kettle! Pot calling Kettle! LOL!

Tiredofit you are so off the mark its pathetic.

You know why I can dismiss sources cited by people like yourself?

Its all about the track record.

You see. Your sources have a nasty habit of trumping up lame as hades arguments trying to thwart what science says about our changing climate and mans hand in it.

Simple as that.

I do not see you providing any convincing arguments or evidence that you are right...not one shred!

Kendall leave Walker sometime and you might run into the Ten Commandments in some prominent places in DC. Other places too. They're very Biblical, don't you think?

@harry- don't forget the ones that have died. Kind of hard for those to defend their position.

"Normal American people are....They try to live by Biblical standards"

"Did I say anything about needing to be Christians, or something? No, I did not."

Nah..you are so correct. After all, Jews and Muslims live by Biblical standards every day. If by Biblical standards you ignore the New Testament and include the Koran. Love that you called me a bigot without a shred of evidence to prove it.

I’m having a few problems with this Oregon Project that those who find it credible should explain.

First, only 39 signers, by the project’s own admission, are educated in “climatology.”

ww w.petitionproject****/qualifications_of_signers.php

So one signer in every 807 has education in climate, according to the site itself.

How many of those 39 are currently studying climate change? We can’t tell, since the list of names at the side doesn’t say who has education in what field.

They don’t tell us who these 39 are, much less provide an opportunity to review their work. That’s too much hidden information for me.

Posted 112 days ago.

Kendall, you seem to be a bigot. Of course J ews, Mormons and Muslims can be normal people. Did I say anything about needing to be Christians, or something? No, I did not. You just read what you want to read, whether it is there or not.

And what were you saying when he had a great approval rating? That the majority was correct then?

The masses are fickle, ignorant and cannot be trusted. The Founding Fathers knew this and that's why we are a Republic today instead of a Democracy.
