Tiredofit I dont know if we are the highest forms of thought. There are men who say they know both past and present. But I have to question whether or not those men are divinely connected or just literally making it up.

Even if there is a creator I highly doubt anyone on this ball of dirt has a bead on what its all about.

But think about this. The order of the universe is extremely complicated from the universe itself down to the quantum level.

Science is nothing more than figuring out how god built it all and made it work.

The overall point is that there is no way of knowing if god is real. The evidence as I see it is inconclusive.

But you can make a leap of faith. But that is the human trait of wanting there to be purpose in everything coming into play.

Tiredofit, the basic flaw in your reasoning is that the Bible contradicts it.

As I have pointed out, God gave man “dominion…over all of the earth.” (Gen.1:26) The Bible foretells that God will retake dominion when man has made conditions so bad that “no flesh should be saved” were God not to “shorten those days.” (Matt. 24:22) And at that time God will “destroy them which destroy the earth.” (Rev. 11:18)

Clearly God has given man the ingenuity to “destroy the earth.”

I didn't say you had a primitive mind. What I was saying is that religion(most of it anyways) can trace its beginnings back to primitive peoples. People who had little to no understanding of our place in the cosmos.

An almighty creator? Not enough information to discern the truth. Although there is a whole lot of evidence that points to there not being a creator there is still a lot we dont know and cant know.

That occurred naturally. And no I dont deny the earth goes through cycles. But you are just arguing whats to blame for the current climate change. That its happening matters more than the cause.

I think it foolish to think that anything can be done to stop it. That would take world wide cooperation. But if we don't prepare for the potential effects of it we are setting ourselves up for disaster.

We are specks in a vast universe. Its arrogant to think we are some beings special project. That way of thinking being a construct of primitive minds.

Im sure a civilization if it exists across the universe in some other galaxy thinks they are the center of the universe too.
