On Monday, I was fortunate to hear Marion Blumenthal Lazan speak to the staff and student body at Jackson Middle School. She is a remarkable woman. She and her husband travel around the country relating her experiences of being a Holocaust survivor.
One of the many things she mentioned resonates: soon there will not be anyone to give a first-hand account of the terrible event, the Holocaust.
I would like to commend Michael Erb for his well-written article in the paper. Being there and then reading his article, I sensed he was mesmerized along with all those listening to her.
