MARIETTA - Peoples Bank's annual holiday window scapes have once again made an appearance at the company's headquarters, located on the 200 block of Second Street in downtown Marietta.
The theme, "Under the Christmas Tree," includes six scenes of Christmas morning. Holiday music accompanies the displays.
The animated displays date to the early 1960s and feature juggling bears, monkeys with wind-up keys, Victorian dolls, marionettes, animated reindeer and toy soldiers.

The holiday window scenes will be lit from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily through Jan. 4.
"Giving back to the community is important to Peoples Bank," said Rick Stafford, Peoples Bank executive vice president for sales and marketing. "The window displays create a unique holiday tradition in downtown Marietta that we're proud to be part of each year."
Around the corner from the Second Street display, the bank's Putnam Street windows feature a "Victorian Marietta Christmas" theme. Several pieces of the Victorian display were once part of the famous Macy's Department Store Christmas windows in New York City many years ago.
Crown Event Rentals in Parkersburg has helped create the Peoples Bank Christmas window displays since 2005.
