Jane Elizabeth (Engle) Mazzacane, 58, of Walker, W.Va., died at the home of her sister on Nov. 23, 2013.
She was born Feb. 14, 1955, to the late Fred C. and Laura B. "Neecy" Engle.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, where she served the Youth Ministry and as a lector and Eucharistic minister to the sick. She graduated Cum Laude from Fairmont State College in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree, and was a lifetime member of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society of Psychology. She worked for 10 years as a social worker with troubled youth for the State of West Virginia. Jane loved art, music and animals.
Jane is survived by two brothers, Stephen Engle (Kathy) of Vienna, and Joseph Engle (Jill) of Oakhill, Va.; five sisters, Lynn Furin of Anchorage, Ala., Deborah Parton, Catherine Engle and Karen Byers of Parkersburg, and Laura Cash (Chad) of N. Attleboro, Mass.; step-mother, Nancie-Pat Engle of Walker, W.Va.; numerous nieces and nephews; and great and great-great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many dear friends and co-workers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Engle.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, Dec. 2, beginning at 10 a.m., at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father John Rice officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 1, from 6-8 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with a Wake Service beginning at 7:30 p.m.
