Regina Dale Chichester Chaney, 86, of Parkersburg, passed away Nov. 20, 2013, at her home.
She was born March 9, 1927 in Wood County, a daughter of the late Walter T. and Rosa Dessel Collins Chichester.
Regina was a 1945 graduate of PHS and was a member of the Stout Memorial United Methodist Church.
She was a former employee of Kikeffer Container Factory, Goldsmit-Black and the Mountain Heritage Credit Union.
She enjoyed Traveling, Quilting and Painting.
Surviving is her husband, Jerry Lindley Chaney; four sons, Jerry Dean (Eva Anette) Chaney of Falls View, W.Va., David Lindley Chaney of Beaver, W.Va., Walter Garfield (Cherie Regina) Chaney and Wesley Dale (Karrie) Chaney both of the Charlottsville, Va. area; two daughters, Rita Jeanne (Steven) Daugherty of the Dallas, Texas area and Diane Rose (Robert) Flenner of Nitro, W.Va.; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Gerl (Judy) Chichester of Waterford, Ohio; one sister, Hattie Arlene Carlson of Marino Valley, Calif.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William T. Chichester and a sister, Betty McBride.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at the Stout Memorial United Methodist Church, 3329 Broad Street, Parkersburg, Rev. Paul Russell and Pastor Dean Ash will officiate and burial will follow at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens.
The visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth Street, Parkersburg and at the church one hour prior to the service.
