David Michael Coull, 66, of Parkersburg, died Nov. 15, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 11, 1947, in Parkersburg, a son of the late George Gordon and Kathryn Dawkins Coull.
He retired from Johns Manville after 18 years and previously had worked for Walker of Parkersburg for 10 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving two tours of duties in the Vietnam War. He retired as a medic in the Army National Guard after 22 years of service in the U.S. Military. He was a member of American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and South Parkersburg Baptist Church. He enjoyed traveling, music and never met a stranger.
He is survived by one son, David M. (Lori) Coull II of Parkersburg; one daughter, Beth (Eric) Kutcher of Akron, Ohio; five grandchildren, Hunter, Hayden and Gage Coull of Parkersburg, and Shaylynn and Elias Kutcher of Akron, Ohio; two brothers, Danny (Connie) Coull of Parkersburg and William Coull of Parkersburg; one sister, Cynthia (Robert) Ramsey of Parkersburg; several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins; and his beloved dog, Jackie.
Visitation will be Monday from 3:30-7 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Joe Busch assisting the family.
