In a digital age, it is quite astounding that the city of Vienna still refuses to move forward with technology. There is no option for using debit or credit cards at the city building, nor is there an option for paperless billing of any sort. Cost is not a valid argument, when a debit and credit card reader can be attached to a cellphone, for roadside sales.
It is very frustrating and annoying for those of us who would like to pay and manage our bills online. Many of us work regular 9-5 jobs which prevents us from visiting the office to make payments or get information during normal business hours.
Vienna needs to get with the program and finally move into the digital age, saving trees in the process.
