Okley Chloe Parsons, 97, of Spencer, W.Va., died Sept. 8, 2013, at the Miletree Center in Spencer.
She was born May 23, 1916, in Sunflower, W.Va., a daughter of the late Elijah Samuel and Ada Mae Eaton Warren.
She was a homemaker and formerly worked as a cook at the Spencer Grill, and did housekeeping work for Foster Hedges. She was a member of Liverpool United Methodist Church and attended First Baptist Church of Spencer.
She is survived by three sons, Herbert P. and Charles Alfred Parsons, both of Spencer, and Kevin Leon Parsons of Manassas, Va.; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Judy Lou Starcher and Margie Mae Harris; one son, Mike Parsons; three sisters; and four brothers.
Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Larry Jones officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Spencer. Visiting hours are from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
