Sandra Lee Agee, 71, was born on Feb. 21, 1942 in Parkersburg, W.Va.
Her family included a brother, John Neal, and sister, Dianne Rowley. Sandy went on to marry Donald Agee. After Don's retirement from the U.S. Air Force, they returned to Parkersburg, where they owned several businesses. In 1987, they moved to Florida, where after raising eight children, Sandy attended nursing school. Sandy enjoyed her career in nursing until the end.
Sandy was the beloved wife of the late Donald Agee Sr. Sandy is also preceded in death by her parents, James and Inga Neal, and daughter-in-law, Marilee Agee. Sandy is survived by her eight children, Mike Agee (Mary), Rick Agee, Gary Agee (Nanci), Ron Agee (Felicia), Marsha Cioppa (Tony), Melinda Robertson (Dennis), Donnie Agee (Andrea) and Kelli Hernandez (Steven). Sandy, also known as Mamoo, has 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Sept, 7, at 10:30 a.m., at Arizona Community Church, 9325 S. Rural Road, Tempe 85284.
Gifts can be made to Valley Christian High School, a place that provided much joy to Sandy over the years.
