C. Darlene Wilkinson, 59, of Parkersburg, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord Wednesday July 24, 2013, at her residence.
She was born in Lewis County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Harry R. Curry and Phyllis M. Bush Lawson.
She was a homemaker and member of 14th Avenue Gospel Mission.
She is survived by her husband Chan K. Wilkinson; two daughters Melissa A. Middleton and Sandra K. Hart (Doug) all of Parkersburg; two sons Chandis K. Wilkinson II (Kelly) of Parkersburg and William Paul Wilkinson of New Hampshire; eight grandchildren Travis (Brittany), Brittany, Mikayla, Julia, Alissa, Keeley, Chandis, and Blair Ann; five great grandchildren Alexis, Karlee, Bailey, Aubrey, and Jeremiah; three sisters Peggy Kasiaie, Rosie Wilt, and Becky Bumgardner; two brothers Harry and Rodney Curry, and a special aunt Rachel Curry who helped raise her.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her granddaughter McKenzie Jones.
Services will be Friday 1 p.m. at 14th Avenue Gospel Mission with Pastor Tim Burch officiating. Entombment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be today, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg and Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.
