PHOENIX, Ariz. - Jodi Arias Wednesday was found guilty of the first-degree murder of her then boyfriend Travis Alexander.
She was in a much-publicized trial for the past four months on charges of first-degree murder. Alexander was killed in June 2008 at his home in Phoenix.
The verdict was read Wednesday afternoon in Maricopa County Superior Court.

Arias was a waitress and aspiring photographer. She initially denied involvement and later blamed the killing on masked intruders.
Two years after her arrest, she said she killed Travis Alexander in self-defense.
Jurors began deliberating Friday afternoon.
