Donald E. 'Don' Taylor, 70, of Port Orange, Fla., passed away March 23, 2013, at the Halifax Health-Hospice Center in Daytona Beach, Fla.
He was born March 14, 1943, in Mineral Wells, W.Va., a son of the late James W. and Ruth Poling Taylor. He was retired from CSX Railroad of Florida and had also worked for Krogers of Solon, Ohio as a truck driver for several years before moving to Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Taylor; one brother, Ray Taylor of Fremont, Ohio; three sisters, Anna Wright of Parkersburg, Evelyn Jones (Boyd) of Mineral Wells, and his twin sister, Dottie Cothern (Bernard), also of Mineral Wells; and several nieces and nephews in the area. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jack, Thomas and Paul Taylor; and sisters, Shyrlene Heath and Jeanie Taylor.
In honoring Don's wishes, he was cremated in Daytona Beach with no services or visitation.
