Sherman and Ruth Meyering of Garner, Iowa, together with Joe and Laurie Boyles of Tuppers Plains, Ohio, announce the engagement of their children, Beth Ann Meyering and Matthew Boyles.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Garner-Hayfield High School and a 2006 graduate of NIACC with a certificate as a paramedic specialist from Iowa University.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Eastern High School and a 2011 graduate of Rio Grande University MBA. He is the grandson of Phillip "Joe" and MaryLou Boyles of Washington, W.Va., and the late Sharon Boyles.

A wedding is planned for April 6 at the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church in Garner, Iowa.
The couple will hold an open house from 2-5 p.m. May 11 at Bethel Worship Center in Reedsville, Ohio.
