Katelyn Anne May and Mark Anthony "Tony" Myers II announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dawn Huthmaker of Parkersburg and Gregory and Robin May of Little Hocking. She attends St. Mary's Medical Imaging program in Huntington, and is set to graduate May 2015 with a bachelor's degree in science, with a focus in mammography.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mark and Bethany Myers of Walker. He is a Seabee in the U.S. Navy Reserves. Through the Navy, he obtained a certification in constructional electricity.

A wedding is planned for Oct. 12 at the Independent Baptist Church in Vienna, with the bride-to-be's grandfather, Robert May Sr., officiating. A reception will follow at Wayside United Methodist Church in Vienna.
