PARKERSBURG - A Red Cross volunteer from Parkersburg today will be deployed for the fourth time for Hurricane Sandy relief, the 66th of her tenure with the agency since 1998.
Susan Hughes will go to New York City and interview clients impacted by the October storm.
"Right now I think they're still trying to help with funding, apartments and rentals," she said.

Hurricane Sandy from Oct. 22-29 was the second costliest hurricane in the United States in history and was the most damaging in the 2012 season. The category three hurricane, which caused heavy snowfalls in the eastern part of West Virginia, is attributed to about 300 deaths.
New York and New Jersey were among the hardest hit.
"The need is so great up there," said Sharon Callow, executive director of the Mid-Ohio Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Hughes spent Friday doing the paperwork associated with deployments.
This will be the 66th deployment since 1998 with the Red Cross, Hughes said. She has made three previous deployments for Hurricane Sandy, including the New York-New Jersey area.
Her first deployment was the flood in West Virginia in 1998. Among recent deployments were to Mississippi for the tornadoes, Hughes said.
