Betty J. Cline, 88, of Sistersville, W.Va., passed away after a long illness on March 10, 2013, at Marietta Care & Rehabilitation Center, Marietta, Ohio.
She was born June 4, 1924, in Pittsburgh, Pa., a daughter of the late Francis C. and Evelyn Grace Holsberry. Betty was owner of Tri-City Motors of Paden City, W.Va., and was a member of the Sistersville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son, Robert C. (Jean) Cline of Huntington, W.Va.; and one daughter, Patricia (Darrell) Schiefer of Belpre, Ohio. Betty has three grandchildren, P. Garrett Cline, David Will and Heather W. Scott; great-grandchildren, Sophie Will, Brantley Will, Carter Scott, Natalie Scott, Hannah Scott, Virgina MacKenzie Cline and Andrew Stryker Cline. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn B. Cline; and one son, Terry G. Cline.
Funeral services will be held noon Thursday at Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, W.Va., with Rev. Bill Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery of Sistersville, W.Va. Calling hours will be 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service.
