PARKERSBURG - Four people were indicted Thursday by the Wood County grand jury for a Liberty Street burglary where more than $18,000 in goods were taken on Jan. 13, according to the Wood County Prosecutor's Office.
Indicted were Casey Hornbeck, 22, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail; Brian Scott Hornbeck, 21, 7190 Knopp St., Parkersburg; Dustin Ray Kinney, 20, in custody at the regional jail; and Thomas Underwood, 18, 3918 Liberty St., Parkersburg, who were charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, unlawful entry, conspiracy to commit unlawful entry, grand larceny and conspiracy, the prosecutor's office said.
They were accused of the Jan. 13 burglary of the Billy Cottrill residence at 3824 Liberty St.
In another indictment, Jack Poland, 45, 3611 Rollins St., Parkersburg, was indicted for operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, conspiracy to commit the operation or attempt to operate a clandestine laboratory, manufacture of a controlled substance and possession of substances to be used as a precursor in the manufacture of methamphetamine from September to January.
Aaron M. Richards, 34, in custody at the regional jail, a co-defendant, was indicted on operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, conspiracy to commit the operation or attempt to operate a clandestine laboratory. The incidents occurred from September to January.
Twelve people were indicted Thursday by the grand jury.
The others were:
* Aaron Lee Dobson, 25, in custody at the regional jail, on two counts of burglary that occurred in December 2011.
* Garret L. Griffith, 29, in custody at the regional jail, on two counts of burglary, two counts of domestic violence, two counts of petit larceny and breaking and entering an automobile. The incidents occurred in January.
* Scott Edward Miller, 41, in custody at the regional jail, on breaking and entering of an automobile and grand larceny. The incident occurred in February.
* Casey Douglas Saunders, 21, in custody at the regional jail, was indicted on two counts of burglary, unlawful entry, grand larceny and destruction of property. The incident occurred in January.
* Kyle J. Smith, 19, in custody at the regional jail, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. The incident occurred in January.
* Andrew Thomas Whipkey, 30, in custody at the regional jail, was indicted on two counts of malicious assault, unlawful restraint, battery upon a government representative and fleeing from a police officer. The incident occurred in February.
