Dean R. and Ellen L. Boone of Mineral Wells are celebrating their 40th anniversary.
The couple was married on March 4, 1973, at Marshall University Chapel.
He is the son of Frances Boone and the late Jess T. Boone. He co-owns Hornor & Harrison in Parkersburg.

She is the daughter of Charlotte L. Kelley and the late Harry F. Kelley. She joined the family business after teaching and homemaking. They are the parents of Travis D. (Catherine) Boone of Alexandria, Va., and Megan L. (Anthony) Mishler of Greenville, S.C.
They have two grandchildren, Elsa K. and Edison D. Boone, and a new grandson this summer.
