Beatrice Lucille "Bea" Wilson, 87, of Parkersburg, passed away March 3, 2013, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
Bea was born June 16, 1925, at Clarksburg, a daughter of the late James Lee and Belle Greaver Williams.
She retired after 26 years service in the Collection Department for the City of Parkersburg. Prior to that, she had been employed as a first-floor clerk with Dils Department Store. She was a faithful member of Stout Memorial United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Viscomi and her husband, Frank, of Trenton, N.J., and their two daughters, Rebecca and Lauren Viscomi; one son, Wade Wilson and his wife. Roberta, of Parkersburg, and their daughter, Kristen Wilson, and Wade's stepdaughter, Miranda Alford of Parkersburg; Bea's great-granddaughter, Arden Boudreaux; and one sister, Virginia Slonaker of Bridgeport, W.Va.
She was preceded in death in 1994, by her husband, Glen Eugene Wilson; and by five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Stout Memorial United Methodist Church, 3329 Broad St., Parkersburg, with the Rev. Dr. Paul D. Russell officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Ave., Parkersburg, and at the church one hour prior to services Wednesday.
