Kyla Staats, daughter of Michelle Keith Hardin and Isaac Staats, and Devin Balderson, son of Lisa andScott Balderson, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Jim and Sherry Keith of Washington, W.Va., and Maxine Staats, also of Washington. She is a 2012 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and works as a dental assistant in the Parkersburg area.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Jodi and Rodney Stull and Bobbi and Larry Balderson of Parkersburg. He is a 2010 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and is employed by the Budweiser Corp.
