Randolph, Gracefern M., 82, of Wheeling, W.Va., died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013.
Grace was born Jan. 24, 1931, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late William N. and Norma C. Williams Davis. Grace was a cherished mother of four, a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church, Wheeling, W.Va., and a Registered Nurse, having retired from the W.Va. DHHR, division of Crippled Childrens Services. Grace also served the Presbyterian Church USA as a General Counsel Member, and was a former Worthy Grand Matron of the Easter Star. Grace loved music, cooking and playing cards. She was a member of a number of Bridge Clubs in the Wheeling area.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth C. Randolph; one brother, Roy Davis; one sister, Myrtle Davis. Surviving are her children, D. Thomas Randolph and his wife Mary of Moundsville, W.Va., Ronald Randolph of Nashville, Tenn., Norma Randolph of Asheville, N.C., and William Randolph and his wife Laura of Sacramento, Calif.; and five grandchildren, Kenneth Randolph, Rebecca Randolph, Matthew Randolph, Amelia Randolph and Anna Randolph.
Friends will be received 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church, 1301 Chapline Street, Wheeling, with Rev. Robert Willits officiating. Interment with military honors in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
