Elinor Birch Wingrove, 93, of Walker, W.Va., passed away Feb. 15, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
She was born Sept. 25, 1919, in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late John Ferguson and Goldie Lightner Ferguson.
Elinor retired from Public Debt, and had sold Avon for over 45 years. She was a lifetime member of Marietta Bible Center Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Newell of Walker, W.Va., and Jackie Mullins of Hopkinsville, Ky.; three sons, John L. Wright of Canton, Ohio, Ross C. Wingrove (Jeanette) of Fleming, Ohio, and Andrew Wingrove (Diane) of Pittsburgh, Pa.; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Wright Sr.; second husband, Ross Wingrove; one son, Stephen Wright; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike Street, south Parkersburg, with Pastor Dr. Myron K. Guiler officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
