Circuit court hears cases

PARKERSBURG - The following cases appeared in Wood County Circuit Court on Jan. 28:

* David Wayne Johnson Wilson, 22, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty Monday to charges of grand larceny, breaking and entering and two counts of petit larceny. His sentencing has been deferred while he goes through the Anthony Center treatment program.

Wilson was indicted June 18, 2012, on two counts of grand larceny, two counts of petit larceny and one count each of burglary, breaking and entering of an automobile, breaking and entering, attempted grand larceny and destruction of property.

* Jeffrey Dawn Deaton, 30, Parkersburg, was sentenced Monday to two to 10 years on home confinement, with credit for time served, on a charge of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab. He was also assessed court costs and restitution.

An information containing the charge was filed Oct. 29, 2012, and Deaton pleaded guilty on Nov. 26.
