Christina Taylor and Bradon McMahon, both of Belpre, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Anthony (Pamela) Leak of Parkersburg, and Amy (David) Ball of Strange Creek, W.Va. She is the granddaughter of the late Gary Leak, Jeanette (Lloyd) Border and Howard and Betty Taylor.
She is a 2008 graduate of Parkersburg High School and is a certified phlebotomist and is employed at Interim Health Care as a home health aide.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Jay McMahon of Marietta, and Denise (Brian) Ward of Belpre.
He is the grandson of the late Ervin and Opal McMahon, Sonny (Kate) Sturm and the late Cheryl Sturm. He is a 2008 graduate of Marietta High School and Washington County Career Center. He is employeed at Thermo Fisher Scientific as fabricator.
A wedding is planned for Oct. 5.
