Cathy Elaine McCrady Roberts, 58, of Parkersburg, W.Va., left earth to join her son, Chad; sisters, Judy and Shelby; and brother-in-law, Mickey Bunner; and her mother and father, in the promised land, on Dec. 22, 2012, at her residence.
On Dec. 26, 1953, a very special, strong, compassionate, caring, loving and very funny person blessed us all that knew her, was born in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Denver and Margaret Rumburg McCrady.
Cathy had worked at Broadway Sandwich Shop and attended South Parkersburg United Methodist Church.
She leaves behind her son Doug; granddaughter, Jessica; brother, Dale; sister, Lou; a number of very special nieces and nephews; and a lot of loving friends.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Rick Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
