CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Cashmere Wright scored 14 points and No. 11 Cincinnati overcame an off game from top scorer Sean Kilpatrick to beat Marshall 72-56 on Saturday.
Cincinnati improved to 10-0 for the second time in three seasons and the 10th time in school history.
Kilpatrick tied his season low with 13 points on 5 of 15 shooting while Justin Jackson scored 10 for the Bearcats. Kilpatrick overcame a poor first half to score nine points over the final eight minutes.

D.D. Scarver and Elijah Pittman scored 20 points apiece for Marshall (6-5).
Last year Marshall overcame a nine-point deficit in the second half and beat the Bearcats 73-69 in overtime in Cincinnati. DeAndre Kane made some key 3-pointers down the stretch in that game, but Marshall's leading scorer wasn't available on Saturday. He's out indefinitely with a right hand injury.
Marshall committed 20 turnovers, made just 14 of 27 free throws and was outmuscled in the paint where it was outscored 40-16.
Cincinnati broke open a tight game with a 13-4 run midway through the second half.
Marshall's Tamron Manning was called for an intentional foul to keep Shaquille Thomas from scoring on a fast break. Thomas made both free throws, Cincinnati got the ball back and Wright made three 3-pointers over the next 1:37 to give the Bearcats a 52-39 lead with 11:44 remaining.
Wright, who set a career high with six 3s in Cincinnati's last game, a 92-60 win over Maryland-Eastern Shore on Dec. 8, had four against Marshall.
Winthrop 50, Ohio 49
ATHENS, Ohio (AP) - Derrick Henry scored 14 points, including the go-ahead free throw with 3 seconds left, as Winthrop ended Ohio's 16-game home winning streak 50-49 Saturday.
After Henry made 1 of 2 tries, Ohio's D.J. Cooper, whose layup with 35 seconds left tied the game, missed a long-range shot at the buzzer.
The Eagles (4-4), who had lost their four previous games against Division I opponents this season, trailed 25-20 at halftime but opened the second with a 9-0 run, capped by two jumpers by Henry.
They led 35-28 with 14:11 remaining after consecutive 3-pointers by Andre Smith, but the Bobcats (7-3) scored the next five points and stayed within five the rest of the way.
Smith and Joab Jerome added 10 points each and Larry Brown nine for Winthrop.
Reggie Keely scored 14 points for Ohio, making all six of his first-half shots but taking none in the second half.

TIFFIN, Ohio - Marietta College hit on better than 52 percent of its shots and led by as many as 24 points in the second half here Saturday en route to posting an easy 75-63 road win versus Heidelberg in Ohio Athletic Conference play.
J.J. Martin missed just one of his 11 field goal and led all scorers with 24 points for the Pioneers, who are now 6-2 overall and 3-0 in the OAC. Tyler Hammond contribued 11 points, four assists and three steals MC, which held a 39-28 advantage at intermission.
Heidelberg (4-5, 0-4) was paced in scoring by Dane Givner's 15 points and Nate Davis' dozen counters. Davis also grabbed a game-high eight boards.
WOMEN
Washington State 62,

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Lia Galdeira scored 13 of her 15 points in the second half to help Washington State upset No. 20 Ohio State 62-55 on Saturday.
Washington State's defense forced 21 Ohio State turnovers - leading to 16 Cougars points - and held the Buckeyes to 1 for 17 from 3-point range.
"Exciting day for Washington State, after a tough road trip and back-to-back losses, the girls responded and came out and played physical, and aggressive," Cougars coach June Daugherty said.
Washington State (3-5) led 28-23 at halftime. Ohio State came back to lead 36-32, but the Cougars' defense forced three straight turnovers. Taylor Edmondson's 3-pointer put the Cougars ahead to stay at 40-37.
Ohio 55, Marshall 48
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. Erin Bailes scored a game-high 18 points in her Huntington homecoming to lead Ohio past the Marshall Thundering Herd on Saturday afternoon, 55-48.
The win was Ohio's third in a row and is the team's fifth consecutive victory against Marshall.
Bailes, who had six boards, two steals, two blocks and one assist, hit 6 of 11 from the floor.
Ohio (4-5) claimed its first lead of the game with 26 seconds remaining in the first half when Bailes drained a 3-pointer from the top of the key to make it 24-22. Suporia Dickens made a layup just before the buzzer to tie things at intermission.
Bailes caught fire in the second half, hitting five of her seven attempted 3-pointers to score 15 points in the final 20 minutes. She also collected all six of her rebounds in the second half.
Marshall (5-5) was led by Shay Weaver's 13 points while Chukwuka Ezeigbo tallied 10.
Heidelberg 75,

TIFFIN, Ohio - Kathleen Phillips went off for 25 points and host Heidelberg University registered its Ohio Athletic Conference victory of the season at the expense of visiting Marietta College here Saturday, 75-61.
HU (4-4, 1-2) led 40-31 at halftime and limited the Pioneers (4-5, 1-4) to less than 31 percent shooting for the game.
Heather Booth's double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds was wasted for the Pioneers, who also got 13 points from Candice Alexander.
