Bonnie Lou Life, 84, of Parkersburg, passed away Dec. 13, 2012, at Wyngate Assisted Living where she and her husband have been residing.
She was born Nov. 28, 1928, in Wood County, a daughter of the late John and Pearl Zerkle Carroll and step daughter of the late Loretta Carroll.
She was a long-time member of the Camden Avenue Church of Christ and had formerly worked at Love and Care Assisted Living Home as an aide and she was an avid bowler at RenDor Lanes.
Surviving is her husband, Lawrence Raymond "Ray" Life; three sons, John (Karen) Life, Jim (Mona) Life and Jeff Life all of Parkersburg and daughter, Jenny (Randy) Ware of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren, Jessica (Jeremiah) McKenzie, Jana (Jeremy) Myers, James Michael (April) Life, Melissa Life, Alexander Life, Benjamin Life, Ashley Ware and Megan Ware; three great-grandchildren, Christopher, Daniel and Lilly Life and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and step mother, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jane Pearl Life and two sisters, Thelma Carroll and Geraldine Johnson.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St., Parkersburg. Evangelist John Rockhold will officiate and burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery.
The visitation will be on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
