PARKERSBURG - Two individuals indicted as co-defendants on charges of battery and malicious assault appeared Tuesday in Wood County Circuit Court.
Dale Eugene Logston, 20, 912 Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, and Travis Shane McCune, 22, 508 Roseland Ave., Parkersburg, appeared on requests for continuance in their cases in separate hearings.
Wood County Circuit Judge Jeffrey Reed granted the continuance to the next court term and the trial date will be set during the January docket call.
Both men were indicted by the September 2012 grand jury on charges of two counts each of attempted battery, battery and malicious assault and one count of conspiracy to commit malicious assault.
In other hearings Tuesday:
* Elizabeth Dawn Parrish, 25, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, appeared for a status hearing and was released on a previously posted bond with the condition of home confinement. She was indicted by the September 2012 grand jury on a charge of child neglect creating risk of injury.
* Shawn Dwayne Flowers, 23, Vienna, began trial Tuesday before Reed. He was indicted along with Amanda Karine Flowers on two counts each of burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary.
Amanda Flowers, 23, is set for a plea and sentencing hearing at 9 a.m. Dec. 19 before Reed. She appeared for a plea hearing at 9 a.m. Sept. 14, 2012, and was referred to probation for presentencing investigation and signed a consent to allow the court to review the report prior to accepting or rejecting the plea.
