DAVISVILLE - A Monday evening structure fire in Davisville left behind minimal damage and no injuries, officials said.
East Wood Volunteer Fire Department, Mineral Wells Volunteer Fire Department and Deerwalk Volunteer Fire Departments responded about 8 p.m. Monday to 17 Ash Circle, Davisville, about a mile from West Virginia 47.
"It seemed to be something to do with the wires," said Sgt. Phil Naegele with East Wood VFD. "There was minimal damage and the cause is still undetermined."
Naegele said the fire was in the attic of the home and the owners still needed to be notified as of Monday night. First responders were able to contain the fire quickly, he said.
"There were wires where the fire started, but (the cause) is undetermined," he said.
