Patty Irene Bell, 72, of Walker, W.Va., passed away on Dec. 9, 2012, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
She was born on Nov. 28, 1940, in Volcano, W.Va., a daughter of the late Vernon and Cora Todd Sprouse.
Patty is survived by her husband of 51 years, Oliver O. Bell Jr.; sons, David Sprouse and Kathy and Randy Bell and Janice; daughters, Kim Owens and Rick, Teresa Kelly, Angie Owens and Butch and Anita Bentz and Roy; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenny Sprouse, Bill Sprouse and Rose, Pete Sprouse, Harold Sprouse and Ronda and Leo Sprouse and Melinda; sisters, Alice Morrison and Willa Scarbough; sisters-in-law, Debbie Sprouse and Hazel Sprouse; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by an infant son, Daniel Wayne Bell; her sister, Betty Radcliff; and brothers, Bobby Sprouse and Vernon Sprouse.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will be at Skidmore Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today.
