Dora Wright, 87, of Englewood, Ohio, passed away Dec. 2, 2012, at Spring Creek Rehabilitation Center in Huber Heights.
Dora was a longtime resident of Boaz, W.Va. She was a member of the Sand Hill Explorers 4H Club for 40 years, and a Fair Board director of the W.Va. Interstate Fair. She was a volunteer and an avid gardener and baker.
She is survived by her sons, Christopher (Susan) of Englewood, Ohio and Eric (Cindy) of Porterfield, Ohio; sister, Dorothy (Willard) White of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; brother, Byrl Buzzard of Ravenswood, W.Va.; sister-in-law, Donna Buzzard of Murphytown, W.Va.; and granddaughters, Heaven and Celeena Wright of Parkersburg, W.Va. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Chantilla Buzzard; her husband, Kenneth Wright; brothers, Kenneth (Bernice) Buzzard, Donald (Madeline) Buzzard, Okey (Gerrie) Buzzard and Maurice Buzzard; and sister, Ora McAtee.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, W.Va., with Pastor Don Yeager. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
