PARKERSBURG - Norman Rattliff, 56, of 628 Liberty St., Parkersburg, was charged Tuesday with robbing the Community Bank on Emerson Avenue.
Rattliff is accused of entering Community Bank, 3906 Emerson Ave., on Nov. 13 and partially concealing his identity with a hooded jacket and sunglasses, police said. According to reports, Rattliff approached a teller, removed a zippered case from inside his jacket, and handed it to the teller.
He allegedly told the teller he had a gun and to put all of the money in the case, officials said. Rattliff left the bank after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.

Although no gun was seen, the suspect allegedly kept his right hand concealed in his jacket pocket during the incident.
Parkersburg police detectives developed Rattliff as a possible suspect early on in the investigation, police said. Parkersburg police S.W.A.T. and the detective bureau executed a search warrant on Nov. 15 at a residence near Liberty Street and Staunton Avenue in an attempt to locate Rattliff.
The suspect was arrested later the same day at 5 p.m. on unrelated warrants (for alleged joy riding and failure to appear in court) at the Economy Inn on Seventh Street in Parkersburg, officials said.
According to the criminal complaint filed in Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 25 Rattliff took another person's 1988 Jeep without permission. Rattliff later wrecked the vehicle, Parkersburg Police Sgt. Greg Collins said.
Police said the suspect was originally interviewed about the bank robbery, processed and placed in the regional jail.
Rattliff was charged with the bank robbery Tuesday, according to police. The suspect was arraigned by video in Wood County Magistrate Court where a bond was set at $75,000, adding on to his $56,000 bond for the other charges.
Officials said Rattliff remains in the North Central Regional Jail.
If convicted, police said Rattliff could face a minimum of 10 and up to 20 years in prison. The stolen money has not been recovered, police said.
