PARKERSBURG - Parkersburg People to People International student group is asking for blankets to donate to less fortunate residents.
New or gently used blankets are wanted for shelters for the needy. Organizers ask that the blankets be in good, clean condition. Coats, boots and gloves will be accepted on behalf of the organization.
Supplies will be distributed to House to Home in Parkersburg and Cornerstone Homeless Shelter in Reno, Ohio.
The drive will run through Dec. 31 and blankets can be dropped off at the following locations:
* CJ's Italian Kitchen 75 Covington Way, Vienna
* The Berkshire 101 Wyndham Knob, Parkersburg
* Somerville Stables 1532 Old Saint Marys Pike, Parkersburg
* St. Michael Parish 5501 Fourth Ave., Vienna
* Community Bank (downtown branch) 631 Juliana St., Parkersburg
* PARS Brain and Spine Institute 1212 Garfield Ave., Parkersburg.
