Delmas "Gene" and Naomi Carr of Vienna announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Jean Carr, to Scott Anthony Lloyd of Larry and Jean Lloyd of Winter Haven, Fla.
The bride-to-be is a 1992 graduate of Parkersburg High School, a 1996 graduate of Harding University in Searcy, Ark., and a 2002 graduate of Webster University in St. Louis, Mo. She resides in Ozark, Mo., and is employed as the human resources director of a local bank in Springfield, Mo.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1989 graduate of Winter Haven High School, a 1993 graduate of Faulkner Univerity in Montgomery, Ala., and is a 1994 graduate of Harding University in Searcy, Ark. He resides in Searcy and is employed as the audio/visual manager at Harding University.
