Donald Frederick Haller, 81, of Ravenswood, W.Va., passed away Nov. 8, 2012, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, following a sudden illness.
He was born Feb. 13, 1931, at Pittsburgh, a son of the late Frederick and Mildred Heck Haller.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served during the Korean War. He was a mechanic in the Auto and Diesel Industry, and later was a sales rep selling Water Well Equipment. He attended Mud Run Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nettie Haller in 2001; and a son, Patrick Haller.
He is survived by sons, Michael Haller and his wife, Marie, of Allison Park, Pa., and David Haller of Pittsburgh; daughter, Drema Wiggins of Ripley; brother, Robert Haller of Pittsburgh; sister, Dee McCandless of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Adam Haller, Justin Wiggins, Jared Wiggins and Joshua Wiggins; and great-grandchildren, Levi, Sammi and Gunner Wiggins.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, W.Va. Burial will be in Fairplain Cemetery near Ripley. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
