Carol Wilkes, 75, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away Nov. 7, 2012, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born July 26, 1937 in Zanesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late James and Virginia Denny. Carol retired from Peoples Bank of Marietta, Ohio as a Trust, Stocks and Bonds clerk. She loved sewing, children, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was a kind and loving person.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Jimmy Denny. Carol is survived by two sons, Mark Wilkes (Cheryl) of Parkersburg and Curtis Wilkes of Vienna; two grandchildren, Matthew (Karli) of Washington State and Tiffany of Parkersburg; and five great-grandchildren, Jade, Isabella, Gabriella, Wyatt and Bayli; her dear friend, Sammy; and also several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m. Monday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna.
