My husband and I attended the recent open house at the Cancer Center, "Rooms that Rock." In 2006-2007, I underwent chemo treatments at the center. I am happy to report at this time, I have been in remission since Thanksgiving 2007.
As I sit in the room that I received my chemo (think I probably used all nine rooms) I thought how nice it would be if there were pictures I could look at and more cheery walls. Well, my dream came true as I looked the rooms over. I just appreciate everyone who had any part at all in the renovations. Hopefully I will never have to use them again, but in case I do, it is so wonderful to know that the rooms are so beautiful.
I want to say that my husband and I appreciate Dr. Nik Shah very much. He has been so kind to us. Good doctors are hard to find, Dr. Shah and Dr. Rajan are two of the best.
