Melinda D. "Mindy" Wright, 46, of St. Marys, W.Va., passed away Oct. 21, 2012, at the Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus, Parkersburg, W.Va.
She was born May 29, 1966 in Wheeling, W.Va., a daughter of the late Charles and Martha Varner Wright. She was a member of Dewey Avenue Church of Christ, where she helped teach a Nursery Bible Class. She was a 1987 graduate of St. Marys High School. She loved to ride in parades, loved WVU athletics, Blue Devil Football and playing games with her brother, Kevin.
She is survived by her brother, Kevin Wright of Cincinnati, Ohio; aunt, Ruth Eddy of St. Marys, W.Va.; uncle and aunt, Dave and Neva Wright; aunt and uncle, Betty and Raymond Stewart; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Dewey Avenue Church of Christ, St. Marys, W.Va., with Evangelists Roger Rush and Dan Kessinger officiating. Interment will be in the St. Marys IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, W.Va., and from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church.
