Maston arrested following domestic situation

PARKERSBURG -A Parkersburg man with outstanding warrants in two other states was arrested by police late Thursday night following a domestic disturbance on Lulu Street, officials said.

Sgt. Greg Collins, spokesman for the Parkersburg Police Department, said officers arrested Timothy M. Maston on multiple counts of domestic abuse, battery and obstruction.

Police were called to the 700 block of Lulu Street around 10:45 p.m. Thursday on a domestic violence situation.

Upon arrival, a female victim stated Maston hit her in the mouth with a closed fist and a man advised officers Maston swung at him with a knife causing an injury to his chin.

"According to the two victims and a witness, Maston also allegedly retrieved multiple knives from the kitchen stating that if the police were called he would kill them," Collins stated in a release.
