Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ferrell of Mineral Wells announce the engagement of their daughter, Joanna Ferrell, to Clinton Thompson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Thompson of Waverly.
The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Marietta College with bachelor's degrees in political science and history and a 2011 graduate with a master's degree in international corporate media and communications. She is an oil and gas consultant at Clearwater Land Services in Deep Creek, Md.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2009 graduate of Marietta College with a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering. He is a field engineer for Calfrac Well Services in Uniontown, Pa.
